engineer name report

plat form - ms-access 2000

hi,
i m create a complaint register.
i want to diplay the report engineerwise using combobox.
if i select any engineer name then dispaly report which is including complaint_no, complaint_date, Client_name, Complet_date, Remark.

Table Name - register
report name - enggwise

fields are using --

complaint number - comp_no
engineer name - engg_nm .....

Place the following code in the after update event of your combobox. replace the generic object names like YourCombo with the actual name of that object in your application,

  1. Private YourCombo_AfterUpdate()
  2. DoCmd.OpenReport "enggwise", , , "engg_nm = " & Me!YourCombo & "'"

But it is not work.
display error message -- 'complaint Register Could not print any object.'

can u tell me another option.

is missing a single quotation mark, it should be

Those things drive me nuts! On my setup/monitor I can't tell, just by glancing, how many quotes/double quotes I have, so it's the first thing I look for when a criteria setting statement bombs!
