the first one is using Between [first date] and [second date]
the second query is search by LIKE function
both queries working properly in the query screen but when i create access page (to be access through the net) the first one worked propely but the second one not.

Best to post the SQL text of the queries.

And, of course, the reason Microsoft decided to stop supporting them was they were horrible and nobody really used them. Most people, I believe, use ASP in conjunction with Access for this purpose.
