delete permission

17
Hi guys,

Do you know how to create a delete permission on acces file. Therefore no one can delete the file. I want to set it from access itself not from the administrator.

thank you

Sorry! You can't do this from Access. It has to be done thru Windows by controlling permissions for the folder holding the database file.

Missingling is correct. Make sure when you change the rights to the folder just to remove the delete rights. If you make all others read only they will not be able to change data in the db.
