Protect database

Hello friends,
I m having project with access as backend and vb6.0 as frontend. Now I want to protect my mdb so that noone can edit it and no one can see my table design and it can Edit only through VB code. One way I know is using Password to mdb. But i need some other way to do it. Is it possible?
Thanks in advance

Sorry about the delay in your getting any response; attendance gets spotty around the year end holidays!

If you're using a VB6 compiled frontend (.exe file) how are you anticipating anyone even knowing that it has a backend that is Access, much less knowing what it's filename is?
