Date Diff help

I have a report in Access. I want to calculate with the DateDiff
function. Two questions.

1. How do I set up the Date Diff to subtract a date in the past from
today's date? I want this to be dynamic, automatically incrementing
the day count based on the current day's date. (I do not input the
current day's date into any field, so it will need to come from the
system clock???)

2. How do I implement this into my report? I have a column that shows
the day I received the item. (This is the field being subtracted from
the current day's date.) Next to this column, I want to place a Day
Count column that will display the weekday difference between the day
the unit was received and the current day's date.

Thanks for your help in advance.
