Phantom Records with DAO Output

I am using Access 2003 on a Windows XP Platform. I am using DAO to open up a table and export the records to PowerPoint. I'm having an issue where deleted records are still showing up in the table's memory somehow. Even if I delete the table and start fresh, the records still show up.

Set db = CurrentDb
Set rs = db.OpenRecordset("WEEKLY_UPDATE_TABLE", dbOpenSnapshot)
rs.Requery

' Open up an instance of Powerpoint.
Set ppt = New PowerPoint.Application

ppt.Activate

This is the code I use to open the recordset. Any suggestions to get rid of these deleted records?

I must admit that this is very strange behavior, one that I have never seen before. This is a real shot in the dark, but try changing the Recordset Type to either dbOpenTable or dbOpenDynaset and see what happens.

When I used dbOpenTable, it seems to just continually print records repeatedly. And there is no change when I use dbOpenDynaset.

Any other suggestions?

Would it be possible to send me the Database with a sub-set of the data and a complete and detailed explanation of the problem? If so, I will send you my E-Mail Address in a Private Message and you can send it to me as an Attachment.

If you don't mind doing that, that would be great!
