Composite Key or Autonumber in Join tables?

Hi all,

I've looked through many forums and still indecisive of what to choose
for my database. Can anyone give me a full account (advantages and
disadvantages, where/when should use) about these two?

Very much appreciated,
^_^

Religious argument which can get heated.

But I suspect 90%, if not more, of the folks use autonumber primary keys in every
table.

Full account? Sorry, no not this late.

I would agree.

One advantage is that if down the line the concept or the use of one
of those items making up the composite key changes, your database will
still work and the relationships will stay.
