Text Box width in MS Acess 2007

Dear All,

I am new to Access and trying my hand on Access 2007.

When I try to create a from using Form Wizard and then selects all fields, all text box remain of same width. If I alter width of any one of them, it changes width of all the text box, even if all of them are not selected.

Can anyone guide ?

TIA
Milan.

Unfortunately there are a lot of added extras with 2007. Firstly are you trying to change the size of the controls in layout view or design view.

You shouldn't be having this problem and I would guess that you have a setting somewhere that selects all controls of a particular type when you click on one control. You will need to have a look at your settings.

Something else you can look at is the layout you chose for the form when using the wizard. Unfortunately, like a lot of the experts I haven't spent much time playing around with 2007 as most of the clients I work with still use 2003.

Check out your various settings and if you still have a problem I will see if I can locate some of our experts with more experience of working in 2007.
