Carriage Returns in Memo Fields

Is there a way to set a memo field on a form so that the 'Enter' key will behave as a carriage return instead of leaving the field? I know the field type recognizes carriage returns if you feed them in programmatically, but I can't figure out how to get them in there just by typing.
Thanks.

In Form Design View, for the field, go to Properties - Other and set Enter Key Behavior to New Line in Field.

Without playing around with any Form, Keyboard settings, or trapping Keystrokes, the easiest solution whenever you wish to advance to another line in a Memo Field is to use the CTRL+ENTER Keystroke combination. This is known as a 'Hard' Carriage Return.

And why would you want to use two keys when one key will do the job?

You probably wouldn't, but then again, you may not want to change the Default characteristic of the ENTER Key. Just providing another alternative to the OP.

The method I gave doesn't change the default behavior of the Enter Key for the entire database! It only changes the <Enter> behavior for that single control! Everywhere else in the app <Enter> works as its Default is set in Options.

Both are good things to know. I'll probably set the functionality of of the field's Enter Key behavior for this case.
Thanks.
