Combo box and event procedures

P: 1
Iím really having a problem with a project and I wonder if someone could help me.

I have a bound combo box with multiple columns on a form called Concentrates For Parts. It is powered by a query called qryConcentrateInformation. When you choose an entry in the combo box, the next three fields in the form are automatically filled in. I have an event procedure for NotInList attached that opens a form called Concentrate Information to add a new item to the combo box. This works great. The field in the combo box that will be changed most often is Price/Unit. How can I make the value typed in save to the query populating the combo box and requery the combo box without opening the form Concentrate Information to type the information there?
Combo box is named MfgsNumber. Other fields are Color, MfgsName and Price/Unit. Iím using Microsoft Access 2000.

Thanks in advance for whatever help I get,

DJH,
Try going to the query grid of the query that is the row source for the combobox and put a general parameter like [Enter Price/Unit] in the criteria row of the price/unit column, then whenever you select from the combo box, you will be prompted to enter the price per unit. If the price per unit were contained elsewhere in the form....in a textbox, for instance...you coukd reference that textbox in the criteria row like this: Forms!YourForm!YourTextbox.
