Using a wildcard in a query.

9
Hi guys,

I have a simple questions I think.
I have a report based on a query.
The query has an input box that says [input basic part number].
If the number is exact, the report runs great. My question is how do I add a wildcard to this criteria?

Example
[input basic part number]
Enter "aaa-11-ddd" and all entries are on the report.
I want

"aaa-11*" to work and all entries with that to report. How can I do this?
Thank you,

Use the Like keyword.
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Like "*" & [Enter Parameter Value] & "*"
