viewing images in access

Hi.

Hope there is someone who can advice.

One of our software developers designed an intranet so that we could upload images (jpg) and view by calling up a job number. He has since left and there is no one who has the knowledge to develop the program further so I have used odbc links to create an addon in microsft access. This works well as users can still upload using the existing web page but then view the details in access by using a quick search method.

What I am wanted to do is to allow the users to see the image in access as well but done know how to do this. When I look at the odbc link the field doesnt show a path just the name of the field ie car.jpg. I also know that you can delete the image off the network and it will still be on the web page so it is not just a hyperlink it is more embedded.

Can i do what I need to do??

Thanks

Would the use of a Microsoft Web Browser Control on a Form be feasible? The User would then have the capability to view the Web Page at will.

This would work if it could link to the job number so that when you click on the link it would bring up the image for that job. Is this something I can easily do?

Hi
What you said gave me an idea and looks like I have sorted it by creating an automatic hyperlink which took me straight to the page linking the job number
Thanks
