continuous form report - receipt printer

ARC
Hello all,

What's the proper paper size setting if you want to do a receipt printer
report, that's a continuous form? I don't really see an option for a
continuous paper size.

Thanks!

Andy

Continous forms are not built for printing. Try creating a report.

I didn't mean continuous form as in an access form. I meant a continuous
roll of paper. As in 2.5" receipt printer paper...

Paper size setting = 2.5" from :roll of paper. As in 2.5" receipt printer paper
Make sure the Detail section of the report has the same width and height as
your receipt printer paper

Thank you, however I don't have a 2.5" option in page setup, or paper size.
Hmmm...Maybe I have to load a driver for a receipt printer first. I'm trying
to do this for someone with a receipt printer, but I don't have one
myself...

Set the width of the report's detail section. This has nothing to do with page
setup.

I already have the width at a bit under 2.5". I had one user reporting that,
after printing 12 items or so, it leaves space, then continues on. This
sounds like a page break is occurring.

Not necessarily. If the report's detail section is sightly long, the print
position on the labels sill shift slightly until the end of report is slightly
below the end of the label. When this happens, the printer will skip a label
to get the printer back where it belongs.

You should have received software with the label printer that should take care
of all the special formatting the printer requires to print to its proprietary
labels.
