Getting ActiveX component can't create object ERROR

167 100+
I have a user getting this error in a MS Access application. I have 30 users using this app and he has successfully used it but is just now getting this error. I figure it has got to be specific to his machine, that prehaps some library has gotten hosed. I looked at his libraries under Tools>references and verified that they existed on his machine. He is running Microsoft Office 2000. Is there some simplier way to correct this or do I need to have his MS Office unistalled and re-installed?
Thanks

Let me know or they do help.

Thanks for the reply. I actually had already figured it out. It was the MS ActiveX data library that had apparently gotten corrupted. The application was trying to 'create object' to open excel when the error occured. To fix, I had Office un-installed and re-installed.
