moving studentName to the report footer

P: 2
hi guys,

I'm developing an application that filter students as pass or fail. in the table i have a field called "status" it's either fail or pass according to student grade.
the problem is in the report. my report have all students (both fail and pass) but i want the failed students to move from the table to a table at the footer of the report.
how can i do that?

Rather than separate tables, why not just group on the status field?

I thought separating fail and pass students in separate tables would be easier to manipulate with, but can u tell me how to group them by status without making separate tables?

In report design view, click View > Sorting and Grouping. You can then group and sort on whatever variable you want. You can even group on a range of values rather than on each distinct value. And each grouping can have its own header and footer.
