Programming Challenge Using Access (Contract Management and Monitoring)

P: 6
I was a wondering whether anyone had developed and is will to share a database to monitor business contracts and services and monitor there performance.

Ideally what Im looking for is a MS Access database to store Business Contract Information relating to who authorised it, start date, end date, Contract Amount and for reports to indicate when contracts were to expire.

It would also be good if expenditure could be recorded against the contract so we would match data.

Im new to this development work and this is my first task which i need assistance on.

So this is your assignment or homework? I'd better move your question over to
the Access forum then. Best of luck.

kind regards,

Jos

ps. See the 'Forums' item in the blue menu bar near the top of this page.

There are a number of template databases that Microsoft makes available free of charge: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/t...1172481033.aspx. Choose the flavor of Access you are developing in and browse happily away! Being templates, they are set up to give you an idea of what is possible to do, and how to do a number of generic tasks. You should be able to adapt one of the templates for your use.

When/if you run into a specific problem, please post back and let us know what the specific issue is, and we'll be happy to help you out.

Regards,
Scott
