Access 2007 Old Date format

P: 2
Hi folks !

I'm not able to get a date before 01/01/1930 formatted as short date (dd/mm/yy).
It is always formatted as dd/mm/yyyy.

Any idea?

A two digit year can only be used if there's an assumption on what the first 2 digits are. I don't know the exact setting for Access but it looks like the two digit years start at 1930 and ends on 2029. If 1929 were formatted with a two digit year, then Access would mistake it for 2029.

It seems to be a good reason.

Thank you,

The cut off point is set in Windows (accessed via Control Panel). I believe the default setting is 2029 generally though I always set mine to 2059.
