EMPTY FORMS after cleaning TABLES

135 100+
Hello,

I created a button that deletes all the information in some tables on click (DoCmd.RunSQL ("DELETE * FROM Engineering;")

This works fine, the problem is that AFTER deleting, when i open the forms (based on the cleared tables) they load completely EMPTY...header does appear but in DETAIL...NOTHING, not even buttons or labels.

To make them "work" again i have to manually open the cleared table and simply enter any information into ANY field...and the forms are back to normal.

I tried to do a: engineering.productname.value="ENTER NAME"
instead of having to enter it in the table, but it doesnt work...

Is there any way to do it??

Thanks,
Gilberto

Check the Allow Additions property on the forms it must be set to No. Thats the only thing I can think of that would cause this.
