needing average..

i have a report with LeaseName and Total with Grand total in the Report
Footer. I need an Average of the Grand Total also. How would I do this? it
would have to be something like Grand total/number of LeaseNames......?

I think this might work. Create a text box in the detail line. Give it
a name One. In the control source, enter =1. Set visible to false.

Create two new text boxes; TotAvg and SumOne.
In Sum1 enter in the control source
=Sum(One)
and set the visible to false.

In TotAvg, in the control source, enter
=[GrandTotal]/[SumOne]
I really don't know what your GrandTotal field name is.
