List of Forms

Hi. I have an MDB that I have been working on using Access 2003. The
db utilizes A2000 format. There are enough forms to require that when
'Forms' is selected from the list of Objects (in the Database Window)
the scroll bar is displayed at the bottom.

Here's the problem:
If I open up a form and update it (and subsequently save and close the
form), when I return to the list of forms the right side of the Database
window "freezes". In other words, I am unable to use the horizontal
scroll bar to move back and forth to view the entire list of forms.

I can get around the problem by selecting another item from the list of
Objects (let's say ... I select Queries or Reports) and then I
immediately select Forms. At that point the scroll bar is operational
and I am able to view the entire list of forms.

1. Is this a symptom of a serious problem with the Database?

2. Is there a solution to the problem?

Thanks, in advance.
Regards,
SueB

This is one of many Bugs in Access 2003.
1) It is annoying, but not serious.
2) Access '97 ???? It has bugs too, but a lot less than later
versions.

A possible (but maybe not great) solution would be to:

Using the object explorer, mark some forms that you are not
working with as Hidden (don't use code to do this). Right click on a
form, then select properties.

Rename forms with the USYS prefix. THis will hide the form unless
you select Show System Objects. You would have to change all
references to the form.
