Day View Form

Hi Everyone,

Seems a while since i was last on here, yet another project, another headache!

I'm trying to develop a hairdesser salon database for my partner, that will be the till, appointment calender etc.

Problem is, they want it in "day view" where the appointments "block" out the specified hours that they are booked in for for the specific stylist.

I'm not quite sure where to start, i have a table with appointments (start date/time and end date/time) but not a clue how to show these appointments "blocking out the hours" very similar to ms outlooks day view.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Take a look here at Duane Hookom's Hook'd on Access sample databases. He has one that uses that technique in a report, I believe. Should be something there to give you some ideas.

Thanks for that, seems a really good site!
