Access Expression Builder

Good day, I am very new in creating expression. I am trying to do an average between two field on two different subreports. The count in both reports pertain to 7 different catagories. So when i run the subreport it will list the 7 catagories with their counts. CAn you help with this build.

We may be able to help, but not without some more information about which controls you're working with and where they are used within your reports.
Referring to Items on a Sub-Form may be some help anyway.

The reason for this requirement isn't clear to me. I wonder why two subreports are used with the same seven categories.
In general when I need fields combined I use a JOIN in a query and/or use a different grouping of the two origins to be able to use reporting levels.

Can you elaborate on the why of the use of two subreports?
