Strange problem with access combo

Hello everybody,

I am having a very strange problem with access. The access application was working fine on the server and clients. Basically an mdb file was placed on the server and shortcuts were created on workstations.

After moving the application to another server, the application works on the server but when I run the application on client machine, one drop down doesn't show up the data. Even if I create a shortcut from the server, the application works good but the client application doesn't show data in one drop down.

If I copy the application on client machine and create a shortcut on server, still it works good and the data shows up.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

This sounds almost like what is described in this link: New Bugs for SP3 in Access 2003

Check to make sure this one particular computer has (or doesn't as the case may be) Access SP3 installed, and the conditions that are described there (namely that the combo box RowSource is a table field that has something in its Format property).

Regards,
Scott
