TRANSFORM (Crosstab) Query

16
Hi I am having the following problem I a running a query off a table. I am using the following sql code

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. TRANSFORM Sum([Intake Branch Banking and BAS].loanamount/1000000) AS SumOfloanamount
  2. SELECT [Intake Branch Banking and BAS].Region
  3. FROM [Intake Branch Banking and BAS]
  4. GROUP BY [Intake Branch Banking and BAS].Region
  5. PIVOT [Intake Branch Banking and BAS].measure;
When i run this I lose the decimal Places and the Currency Indicator (R) Rands in the loanamount column which is in the table.Need Zero decimal places

Eg it brings up 18.47 instread of R18

What am i doing wrong

Thanks for your assistance

I'm afraid I don't know David.
What I can do though is change the title of the thread to better match the question, then those members with that experience will find it.

Try this ...

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. TRANSFORM Sum(Format([Intake Branch Banking and BAS].loanamount/1000000, "R###,##0")) AS SumOfloanamount
  2. SELECT [Intake Branch Banking and BAS].Region
  3. FROM [Intake Branch Banking and BAS]
  4. GROUP BY [Intake Branch Banking and BAS].Region
  5. PIVOT [Intake Branch Banking and BAS].measure;
  6.
