Access 2007 Runtime

20
Need a little help trying to figure out how this runtime program works for Access 2007. I created a database on my computer in Access 2007. I then download a copy of Access 2007 Runtime and loaded it on another machine. I think proceeded to try and open the database I created using the Runtime program, but all I get is a blank screen.

From my understanding, runtime is supposed to be able to open and perform minimal tasked to databases that have already been created. Am I mistake in this or just not using the runtime correctly?

You use the Developer extensions program to package your database together with the A2007 Runtime in order to distribute the database to users who do not have Access installed on their computers. The following link has several links that will explain the process better than I can :-) http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/office/bb229700.aspx

I'm having the same problem and using the developer extension didn't fix my problem. I'm still getting a blank Access window when trying to open a .accdr file. Please help.

Pekboy,

You have asked your question in another member's thread. This is called thread hijacking and is not allowed on this site. There are various reasons for this, the principal of which is that it typically diverts the flow of the thread away from his needs and into yours. Another is that it will tend to mean that your new question is not seen as such, and may get overlooked by many of our experts (You appreciate that they're not looking for answered questions).
Please post your questions in their own threads in future (See How to Ask a Question ).
