Text Format Date to Orginal Date Format

Hi

I am new to MS-Access, I am getting the date in text format when I export it from other application. Could you please explain if there is any "Query" in Access to convert the text dates into original dates?

can some one explain in detail.

Mallik,
You first need to explain your situation more clearly. What formats of date are you using? Text dates & original dates mean nothing to us unless you explain that first.

The answer will almost certainly involve the Format() function, but until we have a question that makes sense we cannot give a clear answer.

Yeah, lots of missing information first question are you importing this to MS Access, then you would like to convert the data?
You should be able to use CDate(FieldName) in a query to convert it and view as a date. as Neo stated please try to rephrase this question then we should be able to help a bit more.
