Dynamic monthly cumulative report

P: 26
Hi guys, i'm looking to create a report with a table showing totals (running and cumulative) of education sessions attend by the staff at a hospital.

I'm trying to get the table to show something like this:

Month/Year | No. of sessions in this month | Cumulative total
Jan 07 2 2
Feb 07 3 5
Mar 07 3 8

I can do the simple functions theoretically needed for the monthly totals and cumulative total, only i'm not sure how to make the month/year row titles automatically create themselves and add to the end of the report as new months come along. The end users will not want to have to add a row on the end of the report every month.

I hope there is a way of doing this, only i've considered a few ways and all of them require someone changing the report layout regularly.

Has anyone got any ideas??

Thanks for your time guys,

Chris

Hi Chris

If you create groups on the report for Month and Year and put the totals in the group footers does this solve your problem.
