questions on access

P: 3
Dear all,
Let's say i'm having a query (not table) of my MSAccess. Can I insert data into that query from my VisualBasic coding? (just like what we usually do in inserting data into a database table -- e.g. "INSERT INTO table_name (col.1,col2) VALUES (val1,val2)"
if yes, how? i usually use recordset
thanks a lot.

You wouldn't normally enter data into a query unless there is a one to one relationship and you would have to use a recordset to do it.

You could however create a look and use insert statements to enter appropriate records in all tables involved in the query.
