How to carry forward month end inventory to new month transactions?

I am building an inventory control database.
But I want to create a inventory reconcilation.I will want to have the
database be able me to check StockOnHand at anytime during the month by :
Carried forward Last StockTake Qty+ Sum([StockIn])- Sum([StockOut]). Please
help!
