I have a query (Query 1) with Crew data. For example Crew #571 has 7
employees & their number data is listed in the rows (so there are 7
rows in the query. I left the employee column out of Query 2 &
Averaged (Group By) the numbers for each column. So in Query 2 I only
get 1 row with all the averages (for Crew 571, for example).

Now I have a form with Query 1 in data form. I would like to put the
averages underneath the columns, but I can't seem to get the averages
to show up in the subform.

Any suggestions?

If I understand you correctly, you want averages in the subform's
footer. You don't need Query2. In the footer create a textbox and set
the controlsource to:
=Avg([Some_Field])
Note: some_field (from the underlying query), NOT some_control.
