Wierd Characters in subform data sheet

P: 28
Has anyone experienced where only one person using a shared Access 2003 db in a muti-user environment displays unreadable characters in the header and field of a datasheet subform?

Go to Tools - Options. Click on the Datasheet tab and see what font is set.

The font is empty and there is nothing available in the dropdown menu to select from.

OK thats weird.

If you open a blank access database and check the setting have you got the same problem. If so then try re-installing office.

If the problem only exists on that database then it looks like you have a corruption problem. In that case we will have to look at recovery solutions.

I opened up the Northwind sample database and the same thing.

I noticed the font was empty on the subform itself, unlike my other subforms. So I set it to arial and saved the subform with that and now it seemd to be OK.

I since found the peron was changes windows system foonts to large size but resetting to the default still did not work until I set the font on th esubform itself in design mode and saved it.
