avoiding duplications of records

CTG

I have an access table
The fields are
F1 AutoNumber
F2 text 20 chars long
F3,...F7 cobination of Text, Yes/No and DTime.

How do I go about making sure F2 is going to be unique for every
record in the table and avoid having dupliactions in the table?

Do I have to re-def the PK to be F2 ? ..It is long and I am trying to
not creates large indices.
Thanks
