MS Access Data Project Filter Issue (Access 2003)

P: 15
Hi All,

I am working on a legacy MS Access Data Project. I have a form that displays results from a view. The user would like to be able to occasionally filter the results by a record value. Sounds simple doesn't it? We're having a tough time with it. When running it in design mode, I am able to right-click on the field and then enter the value. When we run it, the right-click capability is gone. We googled it and found something about the form property "shortcut menu" - it is set to yes. so, why won't it allow me to right-clikc on the field at run-time?

thanks, this is so frustrating!

When you refer to a View, are you referring to a SQL Server object or simply an Access QueryDef?
You talk about filtering the results by "a record value". What do you mean by this?
I'm also not clear what you mean by "running it in Design mode"?
If you can help me to better understand your problem then I'll try to help you with it.
