Hi, i'm VERY new to Access....
i don't even know how to ask... but when you first open an already created database and it only opens the 'switchboard' and doesn't give the option of the tables... don't kow what it's called.... but how do i apply that to the main page... insterad of it opening in access in an editable mode..???

any help would be fantastic

What version of Access and Windows are you using?

I presume you want to show the switchboard and not the Database Window or Status Bar, simply click Tools - Start Up and put the form you want in the Display form/page section and untick the boxes under that combo box.

Click on the Microsoft Office Button on the top right of the screen and go to Access Options.
