Hello, i'm trying to make a purchase order form. but i want it to have a number that already generates a number automaticlly. the purchase orders i use at work are empty books that have a purchase order number in the corner of it but instead of having these i would like to do away with these (books) all together and have a form that creates the numbers on the purchase order i have. the purchase order i am starting is 322751 so after i do this one the next one would be 322752 and so on. so how would i create this to do this. i have the form laid out but i don't know how i can have the numbers to do what i want is there a way to do this? and is there a way to make this start a new form everytime i finish one?

For the automatic numbering of new purchase orders, have a look at this interesting read: http://www.thescripts.com/forum/thre...utonumber.html

For the other, you could put a Save button on the form, then under the on click event of that button, open another form or however you start with another purchase order.

Regards,
Scott
