Steve Lebans Calendar Doesn't Higlight The Correct Dates

Hi all,

I don't know if anyone has come accross this before. I've been using Steve Lebans Calendar control (available here: www.lebans.com/monthcalendar.htm ) for several database application I've built.

I only noticed recently, that after I've selected a date range, by highlighting the desired date, e.g. from 1 August 2007 to 7 August 2007, if I then use the navigation buttons to scroll from month to month, the same number of days is highlighted but for the next month. E.g. clicking the right navigation button will highlight 1 Sep 07 to 7 Sep 07. Click again, I see 1 Oct 07 to 7 Oct 07 highlighted.

Now this has no effect on the dates that are entered into my text fields on the form, which is probably why I haven't noticed it ealier. But could be a bit confusing to the user.

Is this a possible bug with Steve Lebans API Calendar? (I'm using Version 2.05)

Or maybe I'm doing something wrong in my coding. I notice the same problem with my other applications.

I tried using this also, I got it to work and the version i used did the same thing. I think its just a bug in the code he gives you.

Try changing the setting: Double Click to Select a Date, to: Single Click to Select a Date.

Then you'll never have the problem show up... Single clicking on a date range will close the calender, and you won't be able to scroll to other months with the same date range selected.

I don't think you could properly call it a bug, since it doesn't result in adding incorrect dates.

It could also be helpful, IF you happen to select a range of dates, then realize you are on the wrong month and wish to change to the right month! (i.e. if you enter a range of dates in your field, save it, take another look and realize that you should have entered the same date range for the next month, go back into the calender to do so, then click to the next month... the same dates will stay selected)

Regards,
Scott
