Access Default Value = Another Columns Value

P: 2
Hello Everyone.

Having a problem on this one.

I like to have the default value of a field in one table to be equal to the value of a field in an exisitng record in another table.

Hopefully everything can be done in Access rather than writing an external function.

Thanks

Hey Ric, Welcome to The Scripts. I'm going to move this question to the Access forum. Have a nice day!

You'll want to take a look at the DLookup function.
