Counting number of file numbers per created by

I am having difficulty creating a report in MS Access that will subtotal the number of files per created id. Have query that will give grand total, but I need the subtotals first and not sure how. Please assist.

Heya, Peggy. Welcome to TSDN!

I'm going to go ahead and move this thread to the Access forum, where our resident Experts will be better able to help you out.

Hi, Peggy.

Its most likely you need to create query with GROUP BY clause. As soon as you will post your table metadata I'll be glad to give you more definite advice.

Here is an example of how to post table MetaData :
Table Name=tblStudent
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Field; Type; IndexInfo
  2. StudentID; AutoNumber; PK
  3. Family; String; FK
  4. Name; String
  5. University; String; FK
  6. Mark; Numeric
  7. LastAttendance; Date/Time
