Is there a with (nolock) equivalent when writing queries in Access 2003?

Is there a with (nolock) equivalent when writing queries in Access 2003?
I don't think that there is with writing Queries directly, but if you create a Recordset based on the same Query, you can define No Locks (Optimistic Locking). Is this what you are referring to?
