Question about Arrays

P: 10
I'm new to VBA and one of the concepts I'm having difficulty with is arrays.

When is it best to use an array?
Can data from a table be used in an array?
Can an array be used in a function?

Thank you

Hi there.

Arrays are used when you need to store multiple values to one variable.

Yes you can use arrays to store data from a table and they can be used in functions. Arrays are just a fancy version of your other data types. An array is much like a list. It stores many different values and each one is numbered. Arrays are most often used in conjunction with For Loops.

Here's a simple page I found that shows how to use arrays.
