An example of a VB code, one can put on the event procedure of the button

i am asking for a sample of a VB code, that i can use to program on to a button to pop-up a table that the user can input values and save and close the table. The button is on a Form View, where the user will see as they open the database

Are you looking for the DoCmd.OpenTable method? For correct syntax look in the VBA editor help window (position cursor in OpenTable somewhere and press F1 in the VBA editor window.)

This will go in the OnClick event of your command button.
