Printing the last record only as a report

P: 1
Hi Guys, I need some help I have created a access database (2000) made a form to entered data and a report that prints out the results I have added a button to the form that when press saves the file as a snapeshot.file.
Cool so far!
But what it is doing is saving the whole database I want it to save the data but only print out the last entered record....I'm not a programmer so can some please give me step by step as to how this is done.

Cheers

No need for programming. Just have the query return the last entered record and base the report on that.

I agree.

let's say you have a primary key named RecordID on the form.

Then on the query, put a criteria to the RecordID field similar to this:

=[Forms]![YourFormName]![RecordID]

Then base your report on this query.

When you hit that button to access the report, it only shows that record
you made. But of course, the form should still be opened showing that record or else, you would see an input parameter text box. :)
