Multiple users db

P: 75
I am creating this Multiuser database in Access, but never done it before.
I read some articles about this, and almost everyone point me to the direction of Spliting the database.

I am not sure how split database exactly works?
Also, will it let the multiple user accessing and entering the information in the database at the same time?

what exactly I need to have in my front end (user version) and back end (as a server). In other other words will Back end version have the forms, the reports, and quries? Or all this will be a part of fornt end version.

please help me out.

Thank you

Only the data tables are on the back end, which you place on the server. Every user gets a copy of the front end which links to the tables in the back end.
