Someone passed me some VBA code that extracts data from an Access database and populates an Excel sheet. When I try to run it, it gives me an error in the Excel code but all I can do it edit the current book that the module is in. How do I access the general module so that I can change the settings for all Excel workbooks that are created using this code? Thanks in advance...

Hi, cloh.

Sorry, but your post doesn't make much sence. Would you be so kind to post your code to let the community know what we are talking about? Also posting error message and code line where the execution stops would be usefull.

What concerns your question
How do I access the general module so that I can change the settings for all Excel workbooks that are created using this code?
The only way to do it is to place the code to Access module or at least to Excel add-in from the very start. Now when you have a multiple copies of code it will be quite sophisticated.
