USB problem with access database

Hi All,

I use a database that copies records to a second database (both 97)
that is present
on a memory stick. After I have done my code I want to remove the
memory stick and
use it in another machine. The problem is that as long as the first
database is open
I can't remove the memory stick. When I first close the database then
I can savely remove
the memory stick.
What might cause this problem?

It sounds like Windows thinks that the the target database is still
open after the transfer completes. What mechanism are you using to
copy the records from the source database to the target database?
