Problem In Updating the Query.

P: 1
When I link an Excel table to access and run query then a new table is created just fine. But if i run the query again i get an error"Numeric Field Overflow". If i open the query in design view and save, and then run the query then the table is created. I want to autoupdate the query by using macro but am not able to do so, i want to write the macro such that the previous data in the table is deleated and the new data fed into the excel sheet linked to access is auto updated into access. For this i am using make table query and then creating a macro with commands Delete Object(Table),Open Query&Quit. I hope somebody is there for help.

Um... you've told us what you're going to do, but what are you actually asking? Or to put it another way, you hope somebody is there to help with what?
