Date Field Format/input Mask

P: 3
I am working on a database created by someone else. The date field in the database accept dates like 01/01/2007 but stores 1/1/2007. Please how do I format this date field to accept 01/01/2007 and stores as 01/01/2007 in the database.

Thank you

It does store it that way (i think)
Don't see any difference anyway. If you realy want the null put it in a textfield and add the notation
