easy access question,,,

hello all,
i am quite new to this and i'm sure this will be a complete no-brainer to most of you, i would very like appreciate your help with this,,
i have built a very simple database that uses two tables of data,, one of the tables contains a row of data that i would like to change to 0 decimal places, i have imported this table from MS Excel, i have tried to format the table in Excel before i import, however the data is still represented in Access as e.g 2.2546 where i would like it to be 2

please help

Do you just need to chop off everything after the decimal place, or do you need to round the figure up/down? i.e. would 2.3 --> 2 and 2.8 --> 3 when you import it? The easy way is to click the row of the table in Design view and look at the properties of the row at the bottom of the page. One of the properties is Decimal Places, change it from Auto (its default value) to 0. That might work.
