Hi,

When I save a query in MS ACCESS 2000, I get the error 'Invalid Argument'. But I can execute the query very well and I get the desired result. But I want to save this query and use it another one to create a file.

Pls Help !!!!

You have (accidentally) posted this question in the Access Articles section. This is NOT an article.
I'm moving this to the main Access questions forum.

We'll need some information related to your query (the SQL might be a useful start) if we're to help any.
A tip for future questions - You'll get more people willing to help if you phrase the question well and include relevant information. "Pls Help !!!!" after a poorly put question is merely likely to irritate bearing in mind the site rules on How to Ask a Question.

I have already reposted this question in this forum and given the query in that post.

Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know. I'll get around to tidying it up later as I need to go away for a bit now.
Next time you can use the Report facility as that is designed to handle this sort of thing ;) I do appreciate the info though :)

Actually, merging these two threads at this stage is only going to make following it even more complicated. I've read the SQL and I wasn't surprised to see that no effort had been made to find out which bits the error was related to first. Nor was it even posted in CODE tags until I did it for you. Frankly I'm not prepared to do any more work for you if you're clearly not prepared to do anything without being pushed first.

PS. I'm closing this to stop the confusion of having two posts for the same question.
