query count problem

P: 4
i have an access query that draws data from a products table and a stock table. i have a count on productid field from the prodcucts table.

the problem is that if there is no records in the stock table that match the product table it dosen't count 0, it just removes it completely.

how could i get my database to return a value on a count even there is't any matching records in the stock table

You'll need a second query that will outer join the tables and Nz() the count.
